Ma. Bulatov et al., SCALE GROWTH FROM SOLUTIONS OF ELECTROLYTES ON HEAT-TRANSFER SURFACESUNDER NONISOTHERMAL CONDITIONS, Theoretical foundations of chemical engineering, 30(4), 1996, pp. 317-322
Complete and reduced models describing space-and-time changes in the t
hickness of the scale layer on heat-transfer surfaces are proposed. Th
e models make it possible to predict the behavior of the distribution
of the surface temperature and determine the local and integral-mean v
alues of overall heat-transfer coefficients as a function of the chann
el length and time.
