Abstract
The method of hidden adiabatic energy crossings in the complex plane o f internuclear distance is employed to calculate the total, shell- and subshell-selective electron capture cross sections in Be4+ + H(1s) co llisions in the energy range 0.1-10 keV/amu. The present calculations extend considerably the existing cross section data for these processe s in the low energy region.
