We report on the detection of extremely narrow satellite absorption fe
atures in Fe II shell lines of the Be-shell star 48 Lib. These feature
s are variable in radial velocity and depth on a timescale of less tha
n a day. We discuss the origin of these features and speculate that th
ey either are caused by co-rotating clumps in the disk, or by higher-o
rder distortions in the global density wave hosted by the disk.
