Abstract
A rare phenomenon, ''ovum in ovo'' (''double egg'') has been reported (Figure) that was observed in case of a Japanese quail. Sizes, mass an d other data of the inner and outer eggs have been summarized in a Tab le. Hormonal background of the phenomenon has also been tried to clari fy.
