We study the vector meson excitation spectra in the collective quantiz
ation of the soliton in the NJL model with rho meson. The equations fo
r the excitations are integral equations rather than the usual second-
order differential equations. We solve these integral equations by dis
cretizing the radial coordinates. Also, we compare the resulting spect
ra with those obtained from the gradient expansion of the Dirac determ
inant. We investigate the effect of the excitations on the moment of i
nertia.
