Abstract
This paper presents a numerical investigation of cooling with solidifi cation for thermodependent pseudoplastic fluid, flowing in a horizonta l duct subjected to uniform external convection. We are especially int erested in (i) the liquid-solidification free length; (ii) the evoluti on of the axial velocity profile; (iii) the evolution of the local Nus selt number. The temperature-dependent effects of the fluid are highli ghted.
