Abstract
The solubility and dissolution rate of uranium dioxide in salt mixture s (1-x)Na2WO4 + xWO(3) (x = 0.1-0.5 mole fraction) is studied employin g the isothermal saturation method complemented by the concurrent chem ical and electrochemical monitoring of the uranium concentration in th e melt, at temperatures 973-1173 K, in a helium atmosphere.
