Abstract
The boundaries of the thermodynamic stability region of mixed-valence thallium oxide Ti2O3-delta in aqueous solutions are described in a gen eral form, including the case when a wide homogeneity region is realiz ed. The results of the modeling calculations, in particular, the depen dences of the corresponding threshold potentials on the solution compo sition, are compared with the experimental data on the electrocrystall ization of such an oxide. It is shown that satisfactory agreement can be attained, assuming the deposition of a mixed-valence oxide of varyi ng composition.
