Abstract
The electrode properties as well as the electrochemical and chemical p olarization of a polyvinyl chloride-graphite conductor modified with r eversible redox compounds of the quinone-hydroquinone series are studi ed. The region of the hydrogen-function realization and stability unde r the action of the electrochemical and chemical polarizations are sho wn to depend on the nature of the substituents in the ring of the quin oid structure used. Some of the systems studied are suggested as the e lectroactive material for producing solid-phase pH-metric electrodes.
