Abstract
The kinetics of thermal deactivation for thermostable DNA polymerase e nzymes were investigated by using the experimental data published else where (Nielson et al. 1996. Strategies. 9, 7-8). The order of deactiva tion (alpha) and the deactivation rate constants (k(d)) were determine d for different Taq DNA polymerase enzymes and were found to be of fir st order.
