Abstract
We report the velocity slowing of a coplanar interdigitated meander tr ansmission line on a dielectric substrate. Contrary to conventional tr ansmission lines, the phase velocity has been determined by altering b oth the capacitance and the inductance. A simple analysis of this devi ce has been carried out with the use of CAD packages. Theoretical resu lts showed good agreement with measured results. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
