Abstract
The energy dependence of the quarter wavelength plate thickness of las er ''light targets'' and single crystals when the gamma beam with ener gy greater than 100 GeV passes in parallel to the crystallographic pla nes is calculated. The results confirm the feasibility of performing s uch experiments with crystals at present.
