Iv. Borisova et al., THE UNUSUAL REACTION OF DIMETHYLAMINO)METHYL-1-NAPHTHYL]PHENYLCHLOROSILANE WITH FLUOREN-9-YLLITHIUM - SYNTHESIS OF KINETICALLY STABLE DIBENZOSILAFULVENE, Mendeleev communications, (6), 1996, pp. 229-230
The first stable dibenzosilafulvene, 14-[8'-(dimethylamino)methyl-1'-n
aphthyl 14 phenyl-14-silanuorenylide 1, was obtained in one step from
fluoren-9-yllithium and dimethylamino)methyl-l-naphthyl]phenylchlorosi
lane 2 as a stable solvate with THF; the zwitterionic structure of 1 i
s established by H-1, C-13 and Si-29 NMR in solution and solid state a
nd its reactions with crotonaldehyde, ethanol and triethylethylidene-l
ambda(5)-phosphane are described.
