Koriat & Goldsmith restrict their definition of memory to ''being abou
t some past event'', which causes them to ignore the most common use o
f memory: everyday visual-motor tasks. New techniques make it possible
to study memory in the context of these natural tasks with which memo
ry is so tightly coupled. Memory can be more fully understood in the c
ontext of these actions.
