Abstract
A case of a stenosed splenorenal shunt is reported. Balloon angioplast y was performed, but was unsuccessful, and a metallic stent was insert ed. After a 30 month follow-up, the patient is asymptomatic and the sh unt shows good flow with minimal intrastent intimal hyperplasia.
