Abstract
General expressions which allow calculation of dose dependence of radi ation-induced effects for any given distribution of tracks created in irradiated crystal are derived. The dose distribution function in ioni sing particle tracks, the distribution functions of tracks in a volume of crystal and widely applied in microdosimetry passage from the dose distribution in the track to the dose distribution in the crystal, ar e used as a basis. The expressions obtained are used for calculation o f dose dependences of TL yield for the crystal LiF:Mg,Ti, irradiated w ith a parallel beam of 4 MeV alpha particles.
