Abstract
Detection apparatus which allows the simultaneous recording of TL and TSEE curves up to 650 K after X or UV irradiations at 77 K is describe d. Various samples of a-alumina were studied in these conditions. It i s shown that this approach avoids some measurement errors and compares accurately the TL and TSEE peaks related to the same trapping centre.
