Abstract
This paper presents results obtained from the separation of a mixture of twelve toxic cations on cellulose DEAE - silica gel R (1 + 1, w/w) layers using isopropanol - ethanol - 5 N hydrochloric acid (5 + 5 + 1, v/v) as mobile phase. Detection was performed with 0.1% alcoholic pyr idine-2-aldehyde-2-furoylhydrazone solution and 0.1% alcoholic rubeani c acid solution.
