Abstract
By applying to the one-dimensional t - J model a dimensional reduction of the two-dimensional Non-Abelian Chern-Simons bosonization, we find that the correlation effects can be described by two mutually complem entary U(1) and SU(2) dimensionally reduced Chern-Simons fields. This study encourages us to further explore the applicability of such boson ization approach to two-dimensional strongly correlated electron syste ms.
