Abstract
We focus on one aspect of Wright & Liley's target article: the lineari ty of the EEG. According to the authors, some nonlinear models of the cortex can be reduced (approximated) to the linear case at the millime tric scale. We argue here that the statement about the linear characte r of EEG is too strong and that EEG exhibits nonlinear features which cannot be ignored.
