Abstract
A series of transition metal disubstituted ternary heteropolyoxometall ates, [TBA]H-4(3)[PW(3)Mo(7)M(2)O(38)(H2O)(2)]. 2H(2)O (M = Co2+, Ni2 and Cu2+) [TBA]H-4[PW(3)Mo(7)M(2)O(38)(H2O)(2)]. 2H(2)O (M = Cr3+, Fe 3+) and [TBA]H-4(2)[PW3Mo6V3O40]. 2H(2)O, have been synthesized by rea ction of Na9PW3Mo6O34. 10H(2)O and the corresponding results of the tr ansition metal in water, and recrystallized in a mixed acetone/water s olvent. They were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra and electronic spectra. The crystal structure of [TBA]H-4(3)[PW3Mo7Cu2O38( H2O)(2)]. 2H(2)O has been determined, The magnetic susceptibility data indicate that [TBA]H-4[PW3Mo7Fe2O38 (H2O)(2)]. 2H(2)O has weak ferrom agnetic properties.
