Abstract
The effect of deformation by drawing at 300 and 77 K on magnetization of vanadium at 4.2 K is studied. It has been found that the changes of critical fields, pinning and peculiarities of peak-effect observed ar e defined by the heterogeneous dislocation structures resulting from a formation of misorientation boundaries of deformation origin: It is s hown that with decreasing deformation temperature the effects observed are enhanced due to increasing power of the misorientation boundaries . The dislocation density in the most powerful boundaries is determine d from the measurements of varying upper critical fields.
