Abstract
As a corollary to the recollection of Badusa palawanensis in its locus classicus in southern Palawan (Philippines), typification and taxonom ic status of B, philippica are discussed. What has been considered a d oubtful species of questionable Philippine origin becomes a straight-f orward synonym of B. corymbifera originating (as does the latter) from Tonga.
