Abstract
This article will discuss a research study conducted on the transmissi on of Holocaust trauma to children of survivors. The study examines an d focuses on the effects Holocaust survivor parents have on their chil dren focusing on three variables: separation obstacles, the ability to form substantial intimate relationships, and anxiety. Most Holocaust survivor parents perceive separation in a disapproving way and therefo re it is often interpreted and handled differently in survivor familie s.
