Abstract
BaCO3-supported vanadium oxide catalysts, which consist of BaCO3 and s mall amounts of a barium orthovanadate Ba-3(VO4)(2) phase, exhibit hig h catalytic activity for oxidative coupling of methane, with particula rly high activity for ethene and ethane production.
