Abstract
Organometallic complexes of titanium(IV) and vanadium(III) containing monodentate and bidentate 1,2-N,N-dimethyl- aminomethylferrocenyl (L(- )) are synthesised and unequivocally characterised, some by crystal st ructure analysis; in addition, in one titanium derivative, L(-) genera tes a novel tridentate ligand by intramolecular C-H activation of a me thyl substituent on the tertiary amino group.
