Abstract
The description of an Anisian palaeoflora (macro- and microflora) in t he Buntsandstein facies of the Iberian Cordillera Aragonian branch (Sp ain) represents the first precise dating for a formation previously co nsidered as undifferentiated ''Permo-Triassic'' in the absence of any biostratigraphic data. Chronological and palaeogeographical implicatio ns of this discovery are analyzed.
