Abstract
Many lanthanide radionuclides, having various nuclear properties but s imilar chemical properties, are considered suitable for different radi otherapeutic applications. This paper describes the production of a nu mber of radiolanthanides (e.g. Sm-153, Dy-166, Ho-166, Tb-161, and Lu- 177) and the radiotherapy research involving these radionuclides at th e University of Missouri Research Reactor Center (MURR).
