Abstract
The enhancement of two-body attachment rate constants in the presence of second kind collisions with electronically excited states is studie d by solving an appropriate Boltzmann equation in the presence of give n concentrations of excited states. The results are then compared with the experimental decay rates of electron concentration in air plasmas after nanosecond microwave pulse.
