Abstract
We report the first observation of ''probable p-type'' superconductivi ty in an actinide element Th-contained (Bi2-yPby)Sr-2(Eu2-xThx)Cu2Oz s ystem. The superconducting samples are of almost the single-2222 phase . Among them, the sample with a nominal composition of Bi1.2Pb0.8Sr2Eu 1.8Th0.2Cu2Oz shows the highest T-c of about 15 K.
