PARALLEL GRAY-SCOTT REACTIONS IN A STIRRED VESSEL

It is shown that the bifurcation diagram for a stirred tank in which m any Gray-Scott reactions are taking place in parallel can be construct ed parametrically as simply as that the for a single reaction. In part icular, there is no difficulty in keeping track of isolated branches a nd a spreadsheet program suffices for local stability calculations as well. The method can be extended to continuous reaction mixtures.
