Abstract
A Raman spectroscopic study on large-sized merocyanine aggregates prep ared by the irradiating a (NO2)-N-15-isotopomer of ,3'-trimethylspiro[ 2H-1-benzopyran-2,2'-indo-line] (6-nitro BIPS) with UV light in a cycl ohexane solution strongly indicates the association of merocyanine mon omers through the NO2-bridges.
