The magnetoabsorption of large bipolarons is investigated using the pa
th-integral method. The response of a bipolaron in a magnetic field to
an external electromagnetic field is derived from a generalized aniso
tropic modeling influence phase in the framework of the memory-functio
n approach. The resulting magnetoabsorption spectrum of large bipolaro
ns is presented for several values of the magnetic held. A general fea
ture is that this spectrum consists of a series of relatively narrow p
eaks. The peculiarities of the magnetoabsorption spectrum of the bipol
aron as a function of the frequency of the electromagnetic field are a
ttributed to the transitions involving scattering states of a bipolaro
n. The shape of the magnetoabsorption spectrum, due to free polarons a
t lower magnetic fields, drastically changes at higher magnetic fields
where bipolarons are stable.
