Abstract
A method of placing two endosteal implants with simultaneous bone graf ting to the anterior mandible is described. This technique is simple t o use, has minimal morbidity, and has produced good preliminary result s. Retrospectively, 18 patients with a total of 36 implants were revie wed. An implant success rate of 91.6% was seen at a mean follow-up tim e of 17 months after loading with an implant-supported, soft-tissue-bo rne overdenture. (C) Munksgaard, 1996.
