Searching for gravitational waves with laser-interferometer detectors
requires a highly accurate knowledge of the gravitational wave forms i
n order to construct search templates with which to cross correlate th
e noisy detectors' output. In this spirit, we derive here an analytic
approximate formula describing the precession of an inspiraling compac
t binary with equal masses and equal spins, where both the spin-orbit
and the spin-spin couplings are taken into account.
