Abstract
Due to specific physicochemical and chemical properties, perfluorinate d paraffins, ethers, tertiary amines, and their analogs are considered as a special class of compounds. A mathematical formula is proposed t hat relates the boiling point of a perfluorinated organic compound to the number of carbon atoms. Criteria for evaluating quality of these c ompounds and methods for their purification are proposed.
