Abstract
The increasing number of means of transportation using lead batteries and ecological problems make the search for new technological schemes of processing recoverable lead materials an urgent task. One of the sc hemes proposed involves solid-state reduction of a mixture of lead(II) and (IV) oxides with carbon at relatively Low temperatures (under 700 degrees C). The present work discusses the results of Lab investigati ons of these processes.
