Interaction of squeezed light and a two-level system with a degenerate
excited level is considered. The dependence of the relative fluctuati
ons of magnetic field density, eta, as a function of the squeezing par
ameters and the process photon number, n, was found. The value of eta
is shown to be weakly dependent on the method of squeezing for lour-in
tensity fields and small n; for increasing n, and field intensity, the
value of eta is much larger tinder phase than amplitude squeezing.
