A STUDY ON BAND CONTROL METHOD FOR FRAME RELAY OVER TDM

Corporate communications have diversified into the voice signal commun ications, the conversation-type on-line data communications such as ho st-terminal communications and the high-speed burst communications bet ween LANs. WAN service has also diversified into service using high-sp eed digital leased lines, ultra-speed leased lines, frame relay and ce ll relay. As a result of these changes, the transmission equipment is necessary to construct a network using the existing equipment in accor d with media's characteristics and response requirements. This paper p roposes a new TDM bandwidth control method, which corresponds to new s ervices that use existing equipment.
