Abstract
The interrelation between the state of solute and its adsorption on po rous polymer adsorbents, taking as an example the dye adsorption on ce llulose, is considered. The validity of the theory of micropores volum e filling and the possibility of calculating the adsorption parameters on its basis is substantiated. The controversial matter of analogy of the adsorption process with the volumetric dissolving is discussed.
