We recently obtained simple expressions for the variation with concent
ration of the transport coefficients of electrolytes in aqueous soluti
on, namely: selfdiffusion, conductance of two simple ionic species, co
nductance of three simple ionic species and micellar systems. The Fuos
s-Onsager continuity equations were solved using modern equilibrium pa
ir distribution functions such as the MSA (mean spherical approximatio
n) leading to explicit expressions for the variation of the transport
coefficients with concentration. These expressions are in good agreeme
nt with the experimental values for both unassociated and associated e
lectrolytes and micellar solutions.
