The purpose of the Foundation's conferences on systems validation is t o examine topics in depth. The 1994 meeting covered the Validation of laboratory Information Management Systems [1]. The 1995 meeting was co ncerned with: (1) Conducting vendor audits-important because of the FD A's consideration of adding a vendor audit requirement to GMPs/GLPs.
