Abstract
Measurement of solar cell parameters is important for the design of sa tellite power systems. These parameters can be measured using impedanc e spectroscopy and an equivalent circuit model developed. In this stud y parameters of a Back Surface Reflector Field solar cell (BSFR) have been measured using impedance spectroscopy. The results show high diff usion capacitance of BSFR cells and their exponential relation to the operating voltage. Cell dynamic resistance, diode factor, transition c apacitance, and series resistance could also be measured. The minority carrier life time also has been calculated.
