We have studied by Si-29 NMR and small angle neutron scattering the cr
oss-linking by formation of siloxane bridges of two amino-epoxy-silane
molecules at different concentration in acidic water. We relate our o
bservations to the fact that one of the studied systems never gels, wh
ile the second one displays a concentration threshold for gelation tha
t is accounted for by percolation theory.
