Abstract
The photocatalytic activity in the photodehydrogenation of H2S of zinc ferrites synthesized by shock wave loading is investigated and compar ed with that of zinc ferrites prepared by calcination. It is shown tha t photocatalytic activity of zinc ferrites prepared by shock wave trea tment is much higher and that this activity increases with the increas e of shock wave pressure. XRD, TEM, and electron diffraction methods w ere used to characterize the catalysts. Possible reasons for the enhan cement of photocatalytic activity are discussed.
