Abstract
This paper deals with the analysis of some recent nonlinear theories o f consolidation of soils. The contents of the paper refer both to mode lling, with particular attention to nonlinear phenomena, and to a qual itative and quantitative sensitivity analysis of the parameters charac terizing the model.
