Abstract
After sacrectomy, a hernial defect may develop through the pelvic floo r at the reconstructed sacral bed. This complication has not previousl y been described. We describe a technique for repair of such a defect using a prosthetic patch. Accurate and safe repair of this hernia requ ires correct preoperative diagnosis and planning, including a thorough knowledge of pelvic floor anatomy.
