Abstract
Botryobasidium ponderosum is described as a new species associated wit h a Haplotrichum anamorph. Basidiomata of this fungus were found in th e interior of brown rotted logs of Pinus ponderosa. The new species is similar in some respects to B. medium and B. subcoronatum.
