Abstract
Alysidiopsis lignicola spec. nov. isolated from decayed wood in Mexico is described and illustrated with light and scanning electron microsc opy. We provide a comparative discussion with the other 3 species know n inside this genus and include a key with all taxa of Alysidiopsis Su tton.
