Abstract
Air infiltration energy consumption was investigated in an outdoor tes t cell with different leakage configurations and air flow rates under both infiltration and exfiltration. Measurements showed that under hea ting conditions, the air infiltration energy consumption ranged from 5 5 percent less than to 15 percent greater than the classically calcula ted values, depending on the air flow rate and direction (infiltration or exfiltration), solar radiation, and air leakage configuration.
